What is the procedure of composite veneering?
Following Reshaping and preparation of the tooth to receive the composite material, the dentist places the composite in layers, using a light specialized to harden each layer, the dentist then shapes the composite to fit the tooth and achieve the much-desired esthetic look, finally polishes the composite to prevent staining and early wear.
How long does it take to place a composite veneer?
Placement time depends on the size and location – the larger the size, the longer it will take. Nevertheless, on an average it takes about 40-60 minutes to place a composite veneer.
